Monday Motivation: The Best People Love to Eat

Ah, Julia Child, a woman after my own heart.  Or perhaps I am a woman after her heart since I am certain that she loved eating long before I understood all the nuances and pleasure that come with really loving food.  And certainly she was a champion for real food way before I recognized the difference!

One of my sincere hopes is that this website will be a reminder to all that being healthy is not exclusive to loving to eat and loving food.  In fact, because food is so integrated into our lives, histories, traditions and connections, it’s crucial that we enjoy it so that we can have complete wellness!

Remember that the pleasure of having food in the mouth is as important as what happens after we swallow it.  Here’s to eating well and eating good so that we may nurture our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional selves!
