In part 1 and part 2 of my supplements series, I told you how to decide if you need to take a supplement and then, if you do, how to pick a good one. Even with that information, you may still be wondering what to do. After all, it wasn’t exactly prescriptive! So, I thought hearing about which supplements I take and why might be useful to you.
Of course, these are the supplements that I have deemed appropriate for myself based on lots of factors. But don’t forget that appropriate supplementation is all about assessing a person’s eating pattern and health, and then supplementing with key nutrients to move that person even closer to optimal health, if necessary. The right supplements for a person are based on lots of factors including eating habits, food preferences and availability, health conditions and associated medications, test results such as blood work, lifestyle, genetics and environment.
Now, I couldn’t possibly give you a specific supplementation protocol via a blog post, since I don’t know your situation. If you are interested in hiring a healthcare practitioner to help you figure out how to optimize your diet and supplement protocol for yourself or your family, contact me! 🙂
If you feel like you’ve got it down and want to order supplements that you can trust (including the ones shown in the video), order from my list of trusted supplements using the Nutrition QED – Supplement Ordering Instructions – NP Script and this link will take you to the partner that I have chosen for order fulfillment.
